My husband and I happened on this out of the way road amidst the cattle and the cornfields to find the perfect mound of dirt from which we would plant the seeds of our lives for the next fifty years says Frankie Hall of the little slice of heaven she and her husband, Ken, happened across so many years ago and on which they built their dream home. Frankie and Ken share stories going back in time through years of both home and child labor; each recounting a story of how Frankie would design a room or dream up an important feature and Ken would set out to deliver on his bride s wildest dreams. Whenever I wanted to do something in the house, Ken would find a way to make it come to life. One morning I even mentioned it would be nice to have a fireplace in the breakfast nook and the next day he was reconfiguring the room." The result of the "Ken and Frankie Show" is a home full of pride and love and a host of Frankie s timeless inventions including cathedral ceilings, gallery walls, in-wall electric fireplaces, slate-tile flooring, wine-racks, built-in pantries, laundry and hobby room addition and enclosed sun-porch on the inside and also a circle drive, covered carport and years of gardening delight including a lush rose garden and a stone running-water feature on the outside. From the smallest detail to the house expansions and new laundry room, Ken has taken care of just about all the family needs and then some! says Frankie looking over at a smiling Ken. Our front door was always open to friends. Church provided our family with faith, the open fields of cattle a sense of nature and our large yard gave us the joy of freedom, she says very proudly. Our neighbors have been friends and this area a true blessing.
